An elephant is a huge, gentle animal with long tusks and a trunk it uses to drink, spray water, or wave in the air. Here you can meet an elephant splashing water with its trunk, one walking beside a palm tree, or a patchwork elephant that looks a bit like Elmer. There is even Babar standing tall with a paw on his head. Most pages have big, simple shapes that are easy for little hands, while a few have finer lines for older kids. Try giving your elephant bright patchwork patches like a quilt.
