Princess Mononoke is drawn standing with a knife in hand, wearing a fur-trimmed dress, beads and a headband, with facial markings visible on her cheek. Behind her looms the great wolf's head, with sharp eyes and fangs, filling most of the background. The line art mixes fine fur texture on the wolf with bolder outlines on the character. Japanese characters appear in the corners as part of the original artwork. Try shading the wolf's fur in grey tones and the dress in earthy browns.
