A boy with tousled hair and a large cap leans in to offer a small bouquet to a girl wearing a big polka-dot bonnet and dress. Both children stand face to face in oversized shoes, in a tender greeting scene typical of Sarah Kay. The line art mixes bold outlines with fine dotted patterns on the clothing. Try soft pastel tones for the bonnet and warm earthy shades for the boy's jacket.
